The Asylum Program at ABQ FaithWorks is so grateful for the ongoing generosity of Rev. Dr. Harold ("Hal") Nilsson who collects, tunes up, and drops off bikes for newcomers in town.
Transportation is such a big issue and allows our clients to go to places that they need to. Hal makes sure that the bikes are the correct size, type and safe for our clients to ride. One client said, "I'm so happy! Please thank the person who gave me the bike. I don't know how to ride a bike yet, but I am very excited to learn."
Thank you Hal, for you contribution to ABQ FaithWorks and thank you to Odalys Marquez, our Asylum Program Volunteer Coordinator, for her "behind the scenes" work.
