Poverty Simulation

We all know that poverty and homelessness exist in our community.  But what is the cause?  Is there an answer?  How should we respond to those who are facing poverty and homelessness? 

ABQ FaithWorks collaborated with St. Paul Lutheran Church and presented a Poverty Simulation.  The simulation allowed adults and youth to experience the realities people face, which led to a great conversation about the power of kindness, compassion, and generosity.  The youth at St. Paul Lutheran Church and St. Luke Lutheran Church made a generous donation from which our families in our Rapid ReHousing and Asylum Program will benefit.
