Leadership Transition at ABQ FaithWorks Collaborative


Interim Executive Director, Abbey Reed, appointed by the Board of ABQ FaithWorks Collaborative. (July 19, 2023, Albuquerque, New Mexico)


Abbey Reed, currently the Director of the Housing and Homelessness Program at FaithWorks, will assume the position of Interim Executive Director effective September 11, 2023. Jessica Corley, Executive Director of ABQ FaithWorks Collaborative, is stepping down on September 8, 2023, to pursue other professional interests. Ms. Corley will serve on the FaithWorks Board of Directors.


Ms. Reed, a native of Wyoming, joined ABQ FaithWorks in the fall of 2022, bringing many years of non-profit experience with her. As Housing and Homelessness Director, she runs the Rapid Re-Housing program funded by the City of Albuquerque.


Ms. Corley has provided leadership in immigration work since 2019 when Albuquerque received busloads of migrants moving on to other cities in the US. She joined ABQ FaithWorks as Director of the Asylum Program in 2020 and assumed the Executive Director position in December of 2021. During her tenure, the non-profit grew to a yearly budget of over $750,000.


ABQ FaithWorks is a 501c3 nonprofit established in 2019. The vision is that all people are safely housed and integrated into healthy communities of their choice. FaithWorks is a pro-active, interfaith community which leverages shared resources in support of asylum seekers and people who are unhoused, or at the risk of becoming so. Together, FaithWorks learns, serves and advocates with their

clients. They aim to set the standard for a collaborative community response.
