We are always excited for the clergy within our collaboration to come and visit with us. On January 8, Father Christopher McLaren, Rev. Sylvia Miller-Mutia, and Deacon David Martin of St Mark's Episcopal Church came to the ABQ FaithWorks office to eat lunch with us.

Our time with the clergy of St. Mark's reminded us, that our collaboration is more diverse with ideas, and important to who we are as an organization.

Thank you, Father Christopher, Rev. Sylvia and Deacon David, for making time to come and visit with us!

On December 21, the staff participated in the 2023 Homeless Persons' Memorial Vigil, remembering the lives of the unhoused who passed away this year. We participated in a silent march to the Albuquerque Indian Center, where we listened to songs, poems, and the calling of the names of unhoused people who have died this year.

On December 22, the entire staff participated in our monthly Food Distribution at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church. ABQ FaithWorks gives out 1,200 lbs of food monthly for Asylum Seekers in our city.

On December 23, we had our gift distribution at the Cathedral of St John Albuquerque. The Cathedral generously donated gifts for our families in our Asylum Program, as well as food for a holiday meal, including the choice of a turkey or a ham.

As 2023 came to a close, the staff at ABQ FaithWorks left with grateful hearts. We hope 2024 is an excellent year for you and your family. Happy New Year!
